What do I need to know about receiving an Indian Head Massage?
- It is important that you read through the contra indications and disadvantages below prior to booking your treatment. Please, if you’re unsure of anything, get in touch with me first to discuss further
- A consultation will always be carried out prior to treatment
- Please ensure you are hydrated prior to massage
- You will be seated on a chair
- Please wear appropriate clothing that will bare your shoulders. Also, oil, which is optional, may transfer onto your clothing
- Please bring a brush or comb for your hair

- Persistent Migraine or headache following your massage may be a bad reaction to your therapy. Also, if your hydration is low this may lead to headaches. It’s important not to have this treatment if you’re suffering from a headache or migraine
- Irritation is another possible disadvantage especially if you are sensitive or allegic to any ingredient of the massage oil. This will be discussed during your consultation with Amanda
- Urinating more is a possibility due to the elimination of toxins and waste materials
